When you record into GarageBand, you’re doing so at full quality. These steps won’t change anything about your original recording, so you can always return to it and continue recording and/or editing. When you’re ready to share your recording, follow the steps below. If you make your audio essay in GarageBand, you will need to export it as an mp3 file before you can share it with the class (on the blog or Google Drive), or with anyone for that matter. Once those two progress bars close your file has been saved to the Desktop and is ready for you to email, upload somewhere, or save to a flash drive. Drag & drop the AIF/AIFF file in the application to load GarageBand files in the converter.

As the GarageBand files are always found in either AIFF to AIF format, you can easily import the target AIFF files in the converter.

Step 1: Open GarageBand File in the Converter Run UniConverter to start the conversion of GarageBand to MP3 file format. I think you have to go into preferences advanced importing, but I dunno what to do from there.
#PODCAST WITH GARAGEBAND 10.0.3 HOW TO#
Does anyone know how to convert a.band file (garageband) to an.mp3? I cut down a bunch of songs for ringtones, but cannot convert them once I export the songs from Garageband to iTunes (there is a way to do it, I just haven't found detailed-enough instructions). You can also select other preferred format to convert into and then check the Output Folder. This tutorial will show how to export a podcast out of GarageBand as an MP3.Ĭlick the drop-down button in the right side of 'Profile' to select 'MP3 MPEG Layer-3 Audio (.mp3)' as output format from 'General Audio' category.
